Good price for breakfast, the potatoes are really good eggs and toast well done too.

Covid isn't an excuse to treat customers poorly, charge more money than normal, and not accommodate for them. It's taking advantage of a situation and does not just simply allow for an employee to be less accountable. Tired of this stuff and won't be coming back or supporting any business that lacks regular customer service under the excuse of a cold/flu

This place has very unorganized staff and very inexperienced chefs in the kitchen. Waits are extremely long and the food is not worth the wait. I had a table of 3 and we waited over 35min for our food. I am very disappointed and strongly believe this restaurant does not deserve it's 4.4 star rating it has.

This is an amazing breakfast joint! I had their corned beef hash with 2 poached eggs and multigrain toast ($13) and I was amazed. We also got to try the chicken and waffle eggs Benedict ($16), gingerbread French toast ($13.50) along with their salmon eggs Benedict ($15).•Personally I thought the corned beef hash was amazingly well done. I loved the flavours of the veggies with the corn beef, very well seasoned and it tasted very comforting. It was a pretty big portion for the price that we paid 😍 gotta love cheap eats.•The restaurant itself is small good thing we got there early and got a table as it’s self seating. There was a wait when we left But I mean i now know why.•I’d come back again to get their corn beef hash again (ask for potatoes crispier!).

Brito is so nice. No salt and cheese inside the Brito. Taste is so fresh. Nice service, start with hot coffee without ordering. Very recommend.

Remember the old school breakfasts? Before the brunch trend? If you do you will love Nelly's. Breakfast all day, classic sandwiches too, unmolested potatoes hash, great fries, all made with wholesome ingredients. Plus they will unabashedly offer ketchup and hot sauces. The service is efficient and old school too. The kitchen turns out the dishes fast and clean. I love this place for a simple and nostalgic brekkie. The coffee is fantastic too! Go check it out, so worth it.

Tried the Nelly's egg Benny fried Chicken Waffle. The eggs were a bit over cooked and waffle could be a little bit more crispier. Overall portion is big and very filling.

Love this place! My so and I love coming here on the weekends for a great breakfast. Most often, we come for the eggs Benedict and it's always delicious! (Must try the fried chicken and waffle eggs benny at least once.. a lot of food but so good.) Nelly's is always friendly and accommodating. We have been coming for years and won't stop anytime soon!

Quality food with friendly service

I’m a big fan of the classic diner breakfast and was really excited to try this place. Unfortunately it fell a bit short for me. I had the English Breakfast ($13) that included bacon, sausage, baked beans, grilled tomatoes and 2 eggs. The bacon and eggs were where I took off marks. The eggs were of poor quality (very yellow to white coloured yolks) and the 2 strips of bacon were very thin and disappointing. The fried potatoes were nice and plentiful while the baked beans and tomatoes were good enough. Service was excellent to start but started to lack towards the end. It took quite some time for us to get waters and our dirty plates to be cleared.

great food! the prices are a little on the expensive side but it's worth it for the food. The covid-19 safety measures are amazing, i can tell they put in alot of effort to keep customers safe. i'd definitely come back to nelly's grill soon!!

I'm giving this place 5 stars because of the wonderful service and experience I've always had here. The staff are great and attentive, the food is what you'd expect and in my eyes is down to earth loveliness. If you're wanting a good ol' nosh up to set you up for the day look no further. I see a few low stars for mistakes being made but we're all human aren't we? The salmon benny is in my picture.

I have been going here for years! Not as often as I like , but every time I do it’s the same great quality. Best breakfast in Vancouver! No frills no gimmicks, just the good stuff! Chorizo Hash is my go to dish every time. 👌

Loved their soup menu. Cozy, vintage interior design makes this lunch spot feel very classic. I ordered potato soup and a hot chocolate with whipped cream. Paintings are of still life/натюрморты.

This place is great. I love a good diner and Nelly's fits the bill. I had an avocado and tomato Benedict--the homemade Hollandaise sauce was rich and amazing. The home fries were also well done. There were several options that we're vegetarian friendly and gluten free friendly.The service was wonderful and there was a great, buzzy atmosphere.

Good place for Sunday brunch!

Good food, quick service and friendly staff. I ordered the egg Benny with a side of pancakes, the Benny tasted well and freshly made but the pancake was slightly cold by the time it came out to me and the fresh toast can definately be swettened a bit more. There In house organic coffee was wonderful as well, ended up having 3 cups in one sitting. Would definately recommend others to give them a try.

We had a very filling, good tasting, good service breakfast. We'd definitely again.

Amazing brunch place..Great prices..Great food..

Absolutely great service and great food. Waitress was pleasant and even offered to return my plate to the back to keep warm while I finished the 1st course of my meal. My 3rd time here and I will be back even though it takes me almost a hour from where I live.

Great food, small place sometimes has lineup. All day breakfast, great Benny selection. Good selection and value.

Good fare. A little on the pricey side but overall worth it. Chicken and waffles were delicious! Coffee is good along with the service. Will be coming back soon!

Great restaurant and great food! Staff was welcoming and helpful when we asked for suggestions. We enjoyed a wonderful brunch and everything was fresh.

Friendly, fast efficient service, which is pretty unusual for vancouver. Diner food to start you off on your day; coffee refills and classic breakfast options. Large servings , and a relaxing atmosphere, even has outlets for you to charge your laptop/ phone.

Good Food, big plates, Nice & friendly staff., good service. Endless Coffee refills. Lots of People having a good time at breakfast & lunch. It was a good place to start our day.. skipped lunch because of their breakfast 😂

My wife and I have been here twice since moving to the area. Better food (and more gluten-free options) than Sophie's a few doors down and much less busy. People are always nice here.Gluten-free options are great. It's refreshing to have the option between gf pancakes, waffles, AND bread. Portions are substantial and I usually bring some home with me.Will keep coming here for sure.

Great Covid procedures. They obviously care a lot about the safety of their patrons. Food was amazing. The fried chicken waffle benny was unique and super tasty. Nelly's is a must-go for breakfast!

I have to say the waitress was probably one of the best I've come across in the city for a very long time with checking on the food, coffee or water.The place itself is homey and cozy and the menu has a good range of food, prices are definitely not too crazy

Never eaten here before, very quick and friendly service and our food was delicious! We had breakfast - I had the avocado and tomato benedict with bacon with fruit and I liked it!

My boyfriend and I have gone here every weekend for the past 3 years. Love this place and the staff us super friendly. They have very reasonable pricing and great coffee!! Shout out to Susan the server, love this place. (Also very good service and cleaning procedures during covid times)

The wait wasn't too bad. The food was fast and service was good. Meat lover hash, Norwegian benny, fried chicken waffle benny and chorizo breakfast all were delicious.

Lots of good places around here for breakfast. This was our first time at Nelly's. It was very very good. Nice lass from Perth looked after us well. Good choice of the usual stuff for breakfast. I had the House Omelette and it was excellent. Well cooked and generous portions. My wife had the poached eggs on a muffin with avocado and tomato. I think we have to say it was probably the best breakfast place we've been to in a long time. Fellow "breafasteers" appeared to think the same.

Quick and easy service. Had food in less than 20 minutes, and 10 minutes after ordering. Excellent breakfast potatoes. Really Enjoyed the Montreal smoked meat hash. The one table out front was a bit load due to the road but much nicer for me than staying inside.

Celiac/gluten free friendly :) I subbed GF bread in my eggs benny and it was awesome. I ordered for pick up and food was ready in 10 min! Better price than other places along 4th that charge IMO too much. Don't sleep on this place!
